Inhalt
In den Bachelorstudiengängen behandeln die Vorlesungen im Allgemeinen kaum aktuelle Forschungsthemen, die Bachelorarbeit soll sich dann jedoch mit einem forschungsrelevanten Thema befassen.
Dieses Seminar dient der Hinführung zum wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten in zweifacher Hinsicht. Zum einen sollen die formalen Grundlagen vermittelt und erarbeitet werden (Arten der Veröffentlichung von Forschungsergebnissen, Umgang mit wissenschaftlicher Literatur), zum anderen wird ein erster Blick auf die aktuelle Forschung zum Thema räumliche Informationssysteme geworfen. Die aktuelle Forschung in diesem Bereich behandelt zum Beispiel routing in dynamischen Netzen und Anfragen auf location-based social networks.
Das Seminar bietet also neben einer allgemeinen Einführung ins wissenschaftliche Arbeiten auch eine vorbereitende Orientierungs- und Entscheidungshilfe für eine mögliche Bachelorarbeit im Bereich Informationssysteme und Data Science.
Die Veranstaltung findet regelmäßig im Semester statt.
