Inhalt

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) marks a significant advancement in AI, empowering machines to produce new and unique content across a variety of formats such as text, images, and audio. This seminar provides an in-depth exploration of GAI, highlighting its foundational principles, key technologies, and a broad spectrum of applications. Central to the discussion are pioneering models like GPT-3, which excels in text generation, and DALL-E, known for its capability to create intricate images, and Sora for videos. These models, trained on extensive datasets, have the extraordinary ability to craft outputs that closely mimic human-generated content, showcasing the potential of GAI in creative and content generation domains.

The seminar will commence with a review of the historical development of AI in content generation, emphasizing the evolution from vision and language modalities to more complex integrations. We will then dissect the essential components prevalent in current GAI model training, setting the groundwork for understanding the mechanisms behind content generation.

A significant portion of the seminar will be dedicated to discussing recent advancements in GAI. This includes an in-depth look at both unimodal and multimodal generation approaches, where we will introduce and examine models that combine vision and language, text and audio, as well as other innovative combinations like text-graph and text-code models.

Additionally, the seminar will highlight the practical applications of GAI models in various fields, demonstrating how these technologies are revolutionizing content creation. We will also explore some of the pivotal research areas related to GAI that are contributing to its rapid development.

In conclusion, the seminar will offer insights into the future directions of GAI, as well as the advancements and innovations that are on the horizon. Designed for an introductory level, this seminar is perfectly suited for bachelor-level students eager to delve into the fascinating world of Generative AI and its implications for the future of digital content creation. Join us to uncover the capabilities and the vast potential of GAI in transforming how we generate and interact with content.
