Research Interests

My general research interests include mining and searching scientific databases. This includes the analysis of data derived from any (scientific) discipline.

I am the head of the ArchaeoBioInformatics group of the ArchaeoBioCenter at the LMU München.

In addition, I am the project leader of the following projects at the Database and Information Systems Group at the LMU München:

• Efficient Similarity Search in Wireless Sensor Networks

Furthermore, I am participating in a project on clustering streaming data.
